Story: Communications lecturer Apparao(Shayaji Shinde) narrates a love story from his college to an aspiring film director Kishore(Avasarala Srinivas). Shyam(Varun Sandesh) and Anshu(Sanchita) are friends and they slowly fall in love. With the blessings of their elders they get engaged and their marriage gets called off for unknown reasons. What happened actually? Will the love story end on a happy note forms the plot?

Performances: Varun Sandesh is okay, he has been type casted in such college love stories these days. Sanchita is okay in some angles with a cute smile. Catherine is glamorous. Shayaji shinde is okay as lecturer. Srinivas Avasarala and Vennela kishore were apt in their roles. Art work is mediocre. Editing could have been better. Cinematography is poor quality. Music is Average. The story is routine but narration was good to some extent. The direction is just okay.

Analysis: Varun has come up with yet another love story in the college backdrop. His hair style and his accent need be changed immediately. He was bit repetitive in few scenes. Sanchita is okay in looks, she has cute smile but she may not suit for commercial roles. Performance wise she is okay. Catherina suited to the role of dream girl of the hero. She is cute and glamorous. She brings some momentum in the story. Shayaji Shinde as lecturer was okay. Srinivas was decent. Vennela Kishore evoked some laughs in the second half. Brahmaji played the role of hero’s father and looked young for the role. The remaining supporting cast is okay.

Art work is not up to the mark and the editing could have been better. There are many boring and slow paced scenes. Cinematography is of very poor quality. Music is Average with a couple of good songs. "Chandamamalo Kundelaa" stands on top with nice beat and lyrics. The Background sore is mediocre. The story is simple with no strong emotional depth. The screenplay format (splitting it into two parts) is good. The direction is good in few scenes. The production values are okay.

The screenplay magician Neelekanta is back with a youthful love story. This time he hasn’t shown any brilliance in Screenplay but has come up with good one. The narration is very slow and some scenes lacked maturity. You even wonder in the middle of the flick …Is this really directed by Neelakanta….????? The Direction was also very mediocre in most of the places.

The movie is targeted at ‘A’ centers only. The slow paced narration and romantic love feel which is essential for a love story is missing. The lack of good amount of entertainment is a big minus.

Movie Meter:

Story/Screenplay: 60%

Performances: 60%

Entertainment: 30%

Narration: 50%

Plus: Screenplay, Catherina Tresa

Minus: Slow Narration, entertainment,

Verdict: Below Average, Disappointing flick from a National Award winning director.
